"But I haven't done anything to hurt my low back!…”
"But I haven't done anything to hurt my low back! I don't understand why it's so sore!"
I hear this a lot from patients. And my response is usually
"Yes, but have you sat at the computer for 8 hours straight, or travelled long distances in the car? Or sat in bed watching movies on Netflix?"
Chances are you have. Most of us have!
Too much sitting CAN hurt your back. The advice I give my patients is to get an adjustment and go for a 20 minute walk once a day. Because life can get in the way of a healthy spine sometimes and chiropractic can be a fabulous way to ease the back pain.
